Cousins Ella & Kelli Pay us a Visit!

Kelli and her daughter Ella came down the 1st weekend of November and we really enjoyed having them here! It had been about 18 months since we had been together. We had dinner at Nutty Brown, took the girls to storytime at Bookpeople, the Austin Nature and Science, lunch at Shady Grove, shopping on South Congress for a little Austin Weird fun and then Sunday shopping and lunch in Salado. It was fast and furious but great to be together! The girls remind me so much of Kelli and I as kiddos! we look forward to traveling to Dallas and hanging out with them again soon!

Miss A & Shelby celebrating with their medals!

Very timid at first until daddy joined her

Ash's school had a fundraiser for their science program and Chris was able to attend and "Walk the Walk" with his little princess. She loved having her daddy there and wore her medal for days.

Halloween Festivities

Halloween is no longer one day in our world! The festivities last the full month with a mix of school parties, adult parties, work parties, carnivals, pumpkin carving evenings, and trick or treating and we were wiped out by the 31st!

These are out of order as usual but you get the gist. Miss A chose to be Jessie the little cowgirl from Toy Story this year and she looked adorable!

In the picture above - Doug tattooed my daughter and it stayed on over 10 days no matter how hard I scrubbed - thank you Doug

The picture below - Chris went way out of character and dressed as a Deer Hunter (Ash is wearing her camo pj's post costume to coordinate)

Samantha was a fairy friend of her Tinkerbell Coco and I was a Deer to my Deer Hunter. Gotta love that Ganna's fur wraps still come in handy!

So happy to be tattooed!

Playing with Amy & Brad's darling Miss Syd in their favorite toy - a box - Amy and I used to spend a million hours with box imaginative play as well!

Chowing down - though the girls did not partake - Brad's chili was divine!

Handing out candy once her own trick o treating was complete

Picture perfect grandparents!

The girls were teaching Rivers how the trick or treat is done. They told one woman that her doorbell was too high and to please move it
