Me & My Baby Doll

"Look at my pretty baby"

"Bitty Baby wants to walk"

"Bitty Baby can flip and tumble"

Aunt Lynsey sent Ash this Bitty Baby doll for her 1st Christmas. Bitty Baby is the toddler version of the American Girl dolls and as much as Ash loves dolls, we are in for years of fun. Expensive fun. So since Lynsey has a boy and and I have a girl, we love to send each other gifts that we could not purchase for our own child. I send her Camo themed items (and Texas related items so she remembers where she came from) and she sends me tiny food and diapers for dolls. For Miss A's latest birthday she sent these matching dresses and Ash loved having a Mini Me! Thank you Aunt Lynsey! Can't wait to see you and Mr. Rhodes very soon!

Summer Fun with Miss Kate

We journeyed up to Georgetown to spend an afternoon with Kate, Cortney, Dave and their cat Bill. Once again, the pics are backwards but either way we had a great afternoon of playing in Kate's huge playroom, burgers at Mighty Fine, shopping the Outlets and wild times at the Sprinkler park. Yes the girls both have tons of swimsuits and we had them with us but both felt it was a day to bare it all and get the true experience of being 3! Not many more years that we can let them run naked without consequences. The girls were both exhausted at the end of the day but still crying that they had to leave each other.

Cortney looks adorable at 5 months pregnant and we are excited for the upcoming addition to their family! Please say lots of prayers for David and his family as his father is terminal with cancer and this is a very hard time for everyone.

Uncle Ryan performs at Birthday Bash!

I did not have to hire talent to entertain the kiddos this year. Uncle Ryan stepped up and performed with very little coaxing! Enjoy!

Miss A's end of year graduation program

Dripping Springs Presbyterian Academy held their end of year graduation program at the end of May and each class sang a song. We rewarded Ash for her wonderful performance with dinner at her favorite restaurant Nutty Brown. I did shed a tear for the parents whose kiddos are headed to kindergarten. How can that be just 2 years away?

Miss A's 3rd Birthday Party Weekend

Oasis on Lake Travis

Wimberley Blue Hole

Yes, she is wearing an A&M dress - Tyler promises to pay her tuition

Redneck Roping in the front yard

New bike from Uncle Ryan

3 grown men could barely take down this cow pinata

Saltlick Restaurant in Driftwood

These pictures are horribly backwards. It is best to start at the bottom and work up to see the progression of Ash's birthday weekend. It was a great time with family and friends and my sweet baby girl turning 3.
