We kicked off November with our yearly Hunting Widows playdate. Somer and I started this in 2012 as our husbands go hunting the first weekend of November and this leaves us time to get together with our kiddos. This year Somer and her kids came to Dripping Springs for a lunch at Trudys and then playdates at the Belterra Park and our house. Alexan and Sawyer were finally old enough to acknowledge one another and of course CK and Ash loved playing together and playing with each others siblings.
November was also a very very sad month as we lost our beloved dog Bailey. Chris and I got Bailey right after we moved as a young engaged couple to New Braunfels in 2000. She was the most wonderful dog ever and people constantly told us we should clone her. Bailey lived a very full 14 years and she was wonderful with both of our girls as well as all friends and family. We were blessed to have her in our lives and she is dearly missed. She will be forever chasing a ball in our memories!

November was also a happy month because Chris and Ashton's team "The Strykers" won first place in their division! They had a wonderful season!

We also made a trip to Lubbock to see G-Daddy, GG and our cousins and friends. We really miss G-Daddy and had a great time together!
Ash had a 3rd grade field trip to the Lyndon B. Johnson Ranch in Johnson City. I had not been there since I went on my school sponsored Texas Tour in 1990 at the age of 12. We had a great time learning about Texas History.
Papa had another surgery scheduled this month and so we spent some time giving lots of snuggles while we checked out the Hill Country Galleria Christmas Lights and music.
Alexan turned 8 months and continued to keep us on her toes with crawling and giggles.
While PaPa was in the hospital we met Cortney and family at the Domain for their annual tree lighting.
Papa was doing great by Thanksgiving and we had a wonderful Holiday meal at our house.
Tyler and Nikki came for Thanksgiving and we kept them busy by making yummy rice krispie treats, visit to Driftwood Winery, The Exotic Zoo, The Big Drip for Yogurt, and Dinner & Lights in Johnson City. They were troopers for all the crazy fun! Another great end to a month of family and friends and adventures!
