Sweet Berry Farms Pumpkin Patch

This is such a cute place. We have taken Miss A the past two years as it is right outside of Marble Falls. This year was a great deal of fun because GG & Ryan were in town to join us for the festivities. Ash is not big on crowds and we picked a great day that she got to be the star of the show. This is a common theme in her life and leads her to being a bossy queen. There is not much a mother can do to discipline her bossiness when she has grandparents and great grandparents and uncles telling her that she can do as she pleases. I guess that's what I get for making the comment after she was born "It takes a village to raise this child" - I am left with the good and bad of this statement.

On this particular day, there were 8 adults jumping up and down to Miss A's every whim. "Do you want to paint this pumpkin?" "Do you want me to buy you ice cream?" "Do you want to ride the horse?" She barely has to open her mouth and all her wants and needs are met. Ahhh, such is the life of the only grandchild in the Harmon clan. A good day of Fall fun was had by all followed by an evening of Cooper's Bar-b-que from Llano. Yum!

Tech Spirit

Little Miss Drama loves running around and saying "We're #1!" "Go Red Raiders!" and "I love Texas Tech!" Little does she know - Tech is not doing so well this year in football. At least they have 1 dedicated adorable fan.

Bouldin Family Visit to Hill Country

Some days you just feel like wearing a crown on the back of your head

Pink cuties at the park

Scary face

Two Tired Pumpkins after a long day at Sea World (no comments are needed about how one of them is way to old for a pacifier ~ this is my xanax!)

Watching Shamu on their daddies laps

Spending too much money on games for the .50 cent prize

Ashton took this pic of her daddy. She gets him to smile better than anyone!

Sharks

Of course these pics are backwards but you get the gist. Lee, Mary Alice and Kaylor came to town over Labor Day weekend. We had a wonderful time shopping, running around Sea World (Mary Alice's 1st theme park experience ever), playing at the park and eating of course. It was so good to have them here and Ash wants me to retell her the stories of Kaylor and she at Sea World over and over. We love our wonderful cousins and look forward to Christmas to their house soon!

10 years ago I graduated from college. I cannot believe it has been that long. During college I had wonderful, crazy roommates and we decided to get together for a little reunion with our kiddos back in Lubbock. Ash, Cortney & Kate and I drove down from Austin (really from Georgetown & Dripping Springs) to Lubbock and met up with Lynsey who flew in from LA. I was also excited to go to Lubbock to see Allison's new sweet baby Bryson who was 4 months old. As well as G-daddy and G.G and all of our other cousins! Allison's mother was so wonderful to host a playdate and her backyard is like Neverland (except not sketchy like MJ). I even got to enjoy a grown up girls evening of wine and great gossip!

Here are a bunch of pictures from our fun! It flew by too fast and Ashton is already asking to go back.

Lovely Lazy Lakedays

Our wonderful friends the Sanford/Jaynes family invited us to their Possum Kingdom lakehouse for the weekend. It is one of our favorite places in the world as it is so relaxing and their hospitality is so gracious! We stay in the guest house which is just perfect for our little family of 3. Ash loved watching Daddy, Nikki & Chandler ski but did not want to try it for herself just yet. She loves the boat and swimming but left the jet skiing craziness up to her father. Wonderful food, adult beverages, games, and entertaining conversation makes us always ready for next year!
