Christmas 2010

What a wonderful fast and furious Christmas once again! We loved seeing our family and friends and most of all loved watching our sweet girl enjoy all the love and excitement of the season! Here are 1000 pics of our adventures in Austin and Lubbock. It was a very different year to not have Tyler, Ryan or Mimi with us in Lubbock but we understand we have to share our time every now and again!

(Tyler got Ash a cruise ship with 1000 of the tiniest pieces I have ever seen - tiny fruity drinks, suntan oil etc - it is crazy and of course now all over the house - thanks Uncle T)

Driving w/ G-daddy (Britney Spears is our idol)
Relax do you really believe this brain injury freak would let that happen?

Our Little Shepherd!

Miss A's school put on their Christmas play and her class were all Shepherds. Last year she was an Angel and did not think that a girl should be a shepherd but I explained that I was once a shepherd for my church play too and it all worked out ok as all of the parts are important to Jesus' birth. She so very much wanted to be Mary and was so jealous of the Kindergartners with their speaking parts. I love her little school and they did a great job with the kiddos! I was so proud of how well she has learned every song and really has an ear for music more than her mother. She love to play a game where we hum a tune and she picks it up right away and then she will hum a tune and it is easily to recognize.

She is extremely obsessed with Baby Jesus and the story of his birth. We have multiple books and we visited the Live Nativity again this year at DS 1st Baptist Church. She was also given her own Nativity this year by her grandmothers. I love that she is so curious and has such thoughtful questions about Jesus' life.

As her parents our goal will always be to shepherd her to learn more about growing as a child of Christ.

Family Date Night in Wimberley

We had a family date night for dinner and Christmas light in Wimberley. We tried a new cute yummy restaurant http://www.leaningpear.com/

and then headed to my favorite Christmas Lights at the Emily Ann Theater. The place is just so gorgeous!

We are finally planning to actually attend their outdoor theater this summer as they are putting on Alice in Wonderland.

My camera was not working right so the pics are fuzzy - we even took a precious family pic in Cinderella's pumpkin carriage but it didn't come out! Oh well - still great memories
