Rainforest Cafe Birthday

When we were at Disney World we had breakfast at the Rainforest Cafe. Miss A loved it and as she often asks to return to Disney - I cannot give her that trip again for quite sometime but we are only an hour from the Rainforest Cafe in San Antonio. So, we all loaded up and enjoyed memorial weekend celebrating my little Wild Animal turning 5!

Alice in Wonderland

We went to Dallas to celebrate Blake and Mallory's wedding in May. It was a beautiful ceremony and they are precious couple! We had a wonderful time seeing family and Ryan and Jamie's new house. We also visited the Dallas Arboretum and the theme was Fairytale Storybooks - It was really beautiful and fun for the little princess! Great weekend! It is painful to look back at these pictures now and see how green everything was before we were in such a drought!

More Country Fun

When you live in the country, your backyard can be a driving range where you try to hit the deer feeder as a target

You can plant flowers during a drought - ok I guess everyone can do that but I didnt have anywhere else to stick this cute picture

G-Daddy & Uncle T Cav Come for a Visit

Roping Tyler around the tree

G-Daddy just loves the chickens

Little Roper

We had a wonderful time in May when G-Daddy and T-Cav came to visit our country abode. We ate too much, swam and enjoyed telling old stories and laughing! It was wonderful! Looking forward to it again very soon!

Preschool Mother's Day

Before we headed to school we had to give Miss Bailey some love!

I am terribly terribly behind on blogging as working from home this summer had it's own rewards and challenges. I loved the extra time with Miss A especially before she goes to Kinder. I hope to catch up now that school has started

Back in May, Ash's preschool held a Mother's day party. We went to science class with the kiddos, listened to their morning activities (which Ash lead), listened to special songs for the mommas, received gifts of candy kisses and best of all - had a pedicure from our daughters. Oh my - Mrs. Getz let the kids pick the colors - some were rewarded with green and blue nails - you know mine were the hottest, trashiest pink ever! She practically painted my whole foot but I loved every minute of it! I also loved getting to hang with the wonderful other mommy's - such a great group of ladies. I felt very special and had a wonderful Mother's day. Here are the pics and videos from the fun!

Singing for their mommy's at school - the 3 girls on the end are Miss A's besties - Ruby, Cadence and Shelby

To say that I was proud was an understatement - Ash was chosen specifically as the leader that day because her teacher felt that she would do the best job in front of the kids and parents. Lordy I love her teacher and that preschool - they favor her just a bit - it's my blog and I can brag
