We had a wonderful New Year's Eve celebrating with two groups of friends. We started the night off with dinner at the Culbert's - Ashton's friend Cadence's parents. There were 3 other couples there from Ash's preschool last year. It was a great group - all the guys hunt so Chris was very into the conversation - then we left to toast the New Year with our neighbors the LeBlanc's. It was a blast as they had the new Kinect on X-box and we played a couple's dance-off to the Black Eyed Peas songs. It was hilarious. Chris got way into it - no hesitation and danced his booty off - beating me 2 out of 3 dances to songs he had never heard. He has moves! The girls loved their grapefruit juice champagne and we all loved our last year to watch Dick Clark countdown the New Year! This was the first year the girls stayed up until Midnight and they did great - until about 12:08 and then they were meltdown city and exhausted! Fun night! Happy New Year!
Ash is getting to the age where she doesn't want to do any activity without her girlfriends. As someone who loves my girlfriends to pieces, could not get through many a situation without them and wishes that we all lived closer - I try to provide as much girlfriend time as possible. Here are a very playdates over the last couple of months.
