Our Own Little Marley

I recently watched Marley and Me. It was a way deeper movie than I expected. I truly enjoyed it! Most of all it made me realize that I don't appreciate my sweet Bailey enough. Bailey turns 10 this year and she has been an intregal part of our lives through our entire marriage. She has moved multiple times, been an indoor and outdoor puppy, been an only child and shared her yard with Boston, Hanna, Blue, Missy, Jackson & now Jacque. I think part of the reason that I take Bailey for granted is that she is just such an easy dog. She never even had a puppy stage. When we adopted her at 2 months old she went through 4 surgeries due to having an allergy to the stiches when she was spayed. It was a nightmary but she has just always been so good and sweet. Smart and Loving and Loyal. Everything you could wish for in a dog. She just adapts so well to all the changes that we throw her way. Lately I have noticed that she is getting older. She tires quicker when we throw the tennis ball or when she is swimming and it makes me so very sad. When Ash came along, Bailey was so very protective and allows her to do anything that she pleases to her. Miss A is soooo attached to this dog. I pray we have many many more years with her.

Dancing Queen

Ash started her 1st dance class this summer. It is a combo of gym, ballet & tap. Each goes for 15 minutes as this is the max of a 3 year old's attention span. All 45 minutes is hilarious as well, Ash is about as talented and coordinated as me. God love her! At least she thinks it is fun!

Aunt Helen comes for a Visit

Aunt Helen was in town for work so we enjoyed a very HOT evening on the decks at the Oasis catching up on the family. Additionally, Ash loved climbing in the spaceship and playing in the fountains.

Fathers Day Weekend

Fathers Day weekend we enjoyed time with Ryan and Jamie as well as a surprise visit from Summer, Lance, Trinity and sweet baby Caden. We were very excited to meet Mr. Caden and he is adorable! As always Ash was obsessed with Baby Tylee! The girls enjoyed chasing each other around the house and the volume was quite loud as only 3 year olds can do. Jamie and Ryan did a great job of keeping the girls busy as you can tell by the flying toddler pics.

3 & Proud of it!

Our friends from San Antonio share that same anniversary as Chris and I. They were married June 10th, 2001 and we were married June 10th, 2000. So to celebrate our anniversary's we headed to Rockport & Port Aransas for some beach fun with the kiddos. Ash loved it. This was her 2nd time at the beach and she had absolutely no fear which is not all good. She would dash out into the waves without hesitation. A little too much like her mother at times when it comes to her love of the water. We had a wonderful time enjoying local Seafood and the beautiful atmosphere. We are very ready to go back! Thanks Nana & Papa & Mimi for the gift of the trip.
