Yes, this post is about Thanksgiving but our Thanksgiving activities begin with the Chuy's Children's Christmas Parade so that is why Santa is the signature picture! As usual we ran around like crazy people from the parade in Austin to the movie Tangled in Bee Cave, shopping Market Days in Kerrville, Dickens Christmas in Boerne and Turkey Dinner and Christmas Walkway of Lights in Marble Falls.

Joe McDermott - local children's singer

Elvis - a staple at all parades

The town of Boerne was set up in a "Dickens Christmas" mode - it was adorable and the pictures do not do it justice - carolers, vendors, storytellers etc all dressed the part - adorable town. It was my first time to shop and eat there and I loved it as much as Fredericksburg. I will definitely return!
