April 2015 was a great fast paced month with Easter, Drippin Founder's Day weekend and my 1st month at my new job and trip overseas to Paris!
Let's start with Paris! I mean who doesn't want to start with Paris! I was never someone that talked about visiting Paris on my bucket list but now... I totally get it. Paris is fabulous. It's so beautiful - I was there in Spring and the flowers were blooming and it was sunny and I had a great tour guide (my boss) that used to live there. It was a very busy trip but I did check off the Eiffel Tower, Crepes, Coffee at an outdoor Cafe, Wine and just exploring off my to do list. I loved the precious streets and outdoor markets. Every building, table, street is so much smaller and it makes you feel like a huge American. I would have loved to have had my family there but it was a great opportunity to not miss and look forward to taking them back with me.
Easter was so fun as Alexan was excited because Ashton was excited. Alexan was only a few weeks old on her 1st Easter so this was her 1st Easter Bunny and egg hunt! It was wonderful seeing both girls experience the fun.
Founders Day weekend was busy as always - Ashton rode the Soccer float this year in the parade and we cheered her on and then went to enjoy the rides with friends. Saturday, Ryan and Laura joined us for Soccer and then more rides and games and Fair food. Ash was not as big on riding scary rides this year and Lex was too small for any rides - this does not mean we saved money just spent it elsewhere
We also went with Charlotte and her mom to the Wimberley Butterfly Festival and had a great time exploring.
Great month - Lex is almost walking - and babbling like crazy. Ash loves 3rd grade - especially her teacher and soccer
