NO ONE IS EVER ALLOWED TO SIT ON THE POOL TABLE - SHAME!
Great Uncle Phil & Aunt Shirlene - (Phil is my grandmother's brother- they are grandparents to Carley, Jessica, Skylar, Anna & Mason)

Everyone must participate in the moped fun - I have many a scar to prove it as I once drove it into the house and threw Allison off the back during another bit of fun

It had been at least 11 years since I had been to Altus, OK for the yearly family reunion due to graduate school, babies and living so far away. When I walked in the door - it felt no longer than 11 days. It was wonderful, comfortable and I was thrilled to have made the long trip. Phil and Shirlene have always been amazing hosts opening their lake home to us for many, many years and we are so grateful! Family reunions as a child for me were about hanging out with Erin & Carley and my younger cousins; riding on the boat, reading, dancing to music and great food. Going back as an adult and being able to give Ash those same memories was priceless. Looking at all the old pictures and enjoying Shirlene's amazing cuisine was everything I had hoped for and more. As Erin beautifully put it: "It will be just like old times, you and me laying out on the beach just a few pounds heavier". It was like old times but maybe even better because I appreciated it sooo very much more. It was so great to watch Ash play with her cousins and to spend time with everyone. It went by way too fast but I refuse to let another 11 years go by again. Thanks for welcoming us back with open arms.

What a fun time! The moped pictured looked a little fancier than the one you threw us off of!
These are so good! Such fun. You are truly the master photographer.
