December 2014

Today is actually December 25th, 2015 but I am finally having time to update from Christmas 2014! I used to give my mother the hardest time that Tyler never had any pictures or details in his baby book. Now I totally get it. Two children and a very full-time job allow zero time to stay organized on top of projects like blogging. Alexan has a baby book with her name engraved on it. However there are no details in it. This blog will just have to do whenever I can find time to keep up with it.

December 2014 was a wonderful month because Alexan was so happy and smiling and interactive and Ashton was busy with all of activities with friends. We made a point to check out the Christmas lights in Wimberley & Johnson City as well as Pioneer Christmas at the Pound House, a trip to Fredericksburg to celebrate Mimi's birthday by doing her favorite activity of shopping, a trip to San Antonio for Charlee Kay's birthday party, the movie premiere of Annie, Toddies for Tots Party in Marble Falls and the Nutcracker by Ballet Austin. Just a few of our many excursions over the month!

Ryan and Laura came in town for Christmas and we had a great time celebrating with them at our house as well as Mimi, Nana, Papa & Karen. We went to church on Christmas Eve and Ashton participated in the Christmas play as a Wiseman. The guys cooked yummy meals and we had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the kiddos. We wrapped up 2014 with the LeBlanc's annual New Year's Party. As I look back, it was a great month and a great year with the addition of Miss Alexan and continuing to watch Ashton grow and mature into the sweet young lady that she has become. Little did I know the challenges and reflections 2015 would bring.

Daisy ran away overnight and returned very beaten and bruised. We think it was coyotes but thankfully she is back to her crazy self.
