One of Alexan's first words was to call a ball a "Go Go". We think it may be from watching Ashton play soccer and everyone screaming Go! Go! Go! so therefore all balls are Go Gos and she absolutely loves them

March was a crazy busy month for us with 2 important milestones - our baby turned 1 and mommy started a new career with a global nonprofit that would change me from a work from home mom to an insanely busy working downtown and traveling momma.
Alexan turning 1 was a major milestone not just for her but because she is the very last baby for this Harmon family. I spent most of March selling all her baby items. Items that I held onto for 8 years after Ash turned 1 with prayers that we would have another baby someday. And we did and she is amazing. I hate to admit that I don't have all of Alexan's milestones documented as well as I do Ashton's yet she hit them at exactly the same times that her big sister did. Sitting up at 5 months, Crawling at 7 months, Pulling up at 9 months and Walking the furniture at 10 months but neither was walking by their 1st birthday ~ probably too much fun to be carried. They both also started speaking early and never stopped. I never thought anyone would talk as much as Ashton and Alexan talks to anyone and everyone that will listen or wear you down until you will listen. We are so blessed that they have both been so healthy. Alexan only had one cold in her first year of life which is shocking since I am sure her sister brought home all sorts of germs from school. Alexan has turned into a vibrant, spirited, smart, beautiful, sweet little toddler and she totally completes our family.
At the end of March I started my new job as Executive Director of CDISC and I am really excited about the opportunity to lead a Global nonprofit. The organization is involved in over 90 countries thus far and I think being able to expose my family to so many cultures is exciting to broadening our horizon. I hope that I teach my girls about accepting and tolerating everyone no matter our differences.
