Playdate with my Lubbock buddies

Sweet baby Tess

Mommy didn't take many good actions shots other than Brently trying to assist Indie with her coat ensuing crying as no one wanted to leave.

My sweet cousin Erin hosted a playdate in Lubbock for Miss A and I to see many of our former playdate crew. Not too many great pics as they have outgrown the days where I could pose them. Overall, lots of chaos and Ash only warmed up and quit being clingy when the playdate was finally over. Nevertheless, fantastic to see everyone as my "ladies night out" was cancelled when Ash got a stomach bug!

Christmas with G.G.

This was our 1st Christmas to stay at G.G.'s house and boy did we have a great time. G.G. spoiled us rotten from the minute we arrived she had sticker books and books about Giraffes (for mommy to read to me since they are her favorite) and coloring books. All of my favorites. She also bought all of my favorite foods and pretty much let me do whatever I wanted! My favorite thing to do is hide under her stairs where all the toys are stored or climb upstairs and look down at all the crazy family below. I love you G.G. Thank you for taking in the whole family!

Christmas Eve & Christmas Day

Cookies and Milk for Santa and Ashton's one lone stocking at G.G.'s. We were so lucky that Santa knew to follow her to G.G.'s house!

Her 1st gift from Mimi. A baby doll that sneezes & coughs and has a heart beat.

Only an uncle would give such a "cool" gift - her very own Jeep with a radio. Thanks Ryan! I will send you the medical bills

Lots of toys to care for her dolls

Sharing her candy from Santa with Uncle Tyler

Everyone loved the Curious George Jack in the Box

Opening her fabulous dress up chest from GG

Christmas Lunch - Nana, Aunt Tiffany & Jeana

You can't just play on the holidays - you must finish all your work

For the months leading to Christmas, Miss A & I would read the Christmas story and she now has it memorized where Jesus was born and how Mary & Joseph got to the manager. It is really precious all the questions she asks and most of all she wants to hold Baby Jesus. She is still singing Away in a manager every night and on the way to school. We had a fantastic Christmas with our family and friends celebrating the birth of our Lord. Thank you everyone for making our Christmas so wonderful!!!!

I am very very slow to post my 1 million Christmas pictures because my life is consumed with my dissertation. On a happier note... we had a fantastic Christmas with my family. On Christmas Eve, Erin cooked an amazing meal that left us all stuffed. It was wonderful to watch Ashton & Sydney and Hayden open gifts together as Erin, Morgan, Tyler & I did for many many years. We also spent Christmas day afternoon at Pam & Bill's letting the kiddos enjoy the great Texas Fall weather and burn off lots of energy. It was fantastic to see Bill & Zana who have been my surrogate grandparents since mine have been gone 10 years now and Brandon & Tinley & their kiddos who aren't kiddos anymore, Matt, Allie & Lauren. Erin & Ron & Pam & Bill were fantastic hosts for wonderful Christmas memories!

Silly Fun w/ Mr. Evan

Allie and I have been best friends since we were 12 years old and there is nothing I cherish more is that our kiddos absolutely love hanging out together. Allie and I got into a mess of trouble together through the years and as you can tell, these two will keep us on our toes as well! Evan and Ash live to make each other laugh and can't wait to play with each other's latest toys. We greatly miss living in the same town but we will work hard on their friendship as we have our own. With Evan's little brother, Bryson on the way, I am sure Ash will love continuing being the queen boss of her boys! Love and Miss you Allie and Evan!
