Surgery Update
Dad is out of surgery and will be moved to a room shortly. The doctor said that the diverticuli was very hard to find with all the surrounding scar tissue and it was a very challenging surgery but he feels that he was able to remove all of it. The next few days, prayers are needed for no infections and quick healing of the sutures. He will have a feeding tube through the weekend. We have seen him in recovery and it is not a pretty sight. It looks very painful as his first incision on his neck had to be extended. Thank you so much for all your prayers and good thoughts - we feel it and appreciate it!

I am glad he is doing well, and I will definitely keep him in my prayers. Your mom emailed me the other day...again, so good to hear from her! Talk to you soon :)
Glad it's over! He will be like a new person after he's healed & can eat& sleep again. Thanks for keeping us updated!

Hello everyone! Thank you all for your prayers and love. Everything is going well on day two except for my blood pleasure is extrmely low and they are working on that. It means however that I can no longer take pain medication. I will let you figure out how that feels. Nicole,Chris I will never be able to put into words what your and Tyler being here ment to me. Every one in this hospital now knows Ashton on a firt name basis as we now have the big computer up with all her pictures so that I can be with her all day.O.K.there are some of you guys too. You are my deepest love! Dad!
