Big Girl Room

Miss A's room has finally fully transitioned to a "Big Girl Room". It has been a few months since we transitioned Ash to the twin bed but the dresser and armoire just completed the room this weekend. I have to say, I am very sad. Granted the child slept maybe 20 times in her crib preferring our bed or a pack n play in our room but remembering how long I spent deciding on the bumper pad and black baby furniture seems like an eternity ago in some ways. I am in no way ready for another baby but my baby nearing 3, is just hard to accept. She is very proud of her new room and I love the bedspread with the hula girls and butterflies and bright colors. She spends a great deal of time in her bed during the day fixing her baby dolls, reading books and yelling at us to come and find her under the covers. She woke up from a nap on Saturday and when I came in she was gazing at the picture collage that Tyler had made for us. She was pointing to pictures of her and explaining to me that some of them were when she was in my tummy. She is so smart and so much fun but I tell her everyday to just stay this age and quit growing. Thanks to Nana & Mimi for helping to purchase new accessories to make the transition beautiful for this spoiled little mess.
