Chris has been working in San Antonio quite a bit lately and Ash is more obsessed with him than ever. The separation is hard on both of them as he hates to miss a minute of her life but luckily she will talk endlessly on the phone to him giving him full reports of her day.
She had her 1st tearful day at school on Friday as Daddy was back in town and had dropped her off. She was counting the hours to go home and play with him. She is often found wearing his clothes (below), boots, hat and sunglasses. They have a game to see who can hug the other one the tightest. He calls himself the big bad boss daddy to her but of course we all laugh as she has him extremely wrapped around her finger. They have endless hours of tickling and it makes me smile as I can remember this being my nightly ritual with my dad. She talks all about how she wants to go hunting with Daddy when she turns 5 and actually sits through the shows with him on TV. She even plays a hunting game on my iphone - yikes! It is pretty funny how everyone expects Chris to want a boy but I am 100% certain he couldn't love anything more than he loves this little drama queen who has stolen his heart and has total admiration for him. I love their relationship!
