Oh Bailey, my sweet dear Bailey - the dog that has a waiting list of people that want to clone you, I want to sincerely apologize for thinking that Ashton needed a puppy for a Christmas gift. I hope that with time you can forgive me for making you raise another unruly puppy as if Hannah, Blue and Missy were not enough in your lifetime. Now at age 12 - or 85 in dog years, we brought you your greatest challenge yet. You were in your sunset years and now you have to deal with nipping, jumping, barking, and sharing all over again. Just remember - we love you!Miss Daisy Mae is a Black Mouth Cur. A dog that is extremely loyal to women and children and still loves to hunt with the crazy men. Ol Yeller was a black mouth cur. I have a feeling we will learn a great deal from this pup. She looks like Marmaduke the Great Dane and therefore eats everything in sight. She is ridiculously hyper and stubborn but also scarily smart. She was potty trained very fast and learns tricks - sit and fetch within minutes but her teeth are like razors and I would give anything for a puppy pacifier. I would be so very rich if I could just patent this type of product.
Daisy loves Ash and thinks she a fabulous playmate however she has no concept of her enormous size and Ash wants to play with her but she had really pictured more of a yorkie instead of a horse for a puppy. But everytime I complain about her, Ash defends her to the death. They will be lifelong playmates.
Daisy Mae Loo Loo Brains is a work in progress but I have definitely fallen for her wrinkled forehead and curious spirit. Right now she is trying to crawl on my lap on top of the computer - tiny little thing that she is. Somedays I think Bailey even starts to like her - but not everyday by any means
